A loving mother, grandmother, and sister Nyla Wilcock Banner, age 72, passed peacefully away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at home shortly after being diagnosed in Birmingham, England with brain cancer.
Nyla was a source of comfort and inspiration to her husband, family and those who knew her. She spent her days charitably serving her family, church and community where she used her many talents of baking, sewing, organizing, and teaching to bless those around her.
Later in life she served with her husband as a Public Affairs missionary on Temple Square following her service as a full-time Public Affairs missionary with her husband in the Germany, Frankfurt mission supporting the East Europe area. Ten years after the passing of her eternal companion, Nyla chose to serve another Public Affairs mission in Birmingham, England where she left her loving influence on the hearts of those with whom she served in Solihull.
Elder Ruka, you are dearly loved and sorely missed.
